suffered a catastrophic impact from Hurricane Jeanne and Operation
Green Leaves was there to lend a helping hand! Hurricane Jeanne devastated Haiti, and as the Western Hemisphere's poorest country, the people are suffering from the catastrophic impact of the storm. Additionally, the environment has been profoundly damaged. Operation green Leaves (OGL), a volunteer organization dedicated to the reforestation of Haiti is looking for financial donations. This will help rebuild the tree canopy and combat the severe deforestation Haiti has experienced. Seeds are also needed. OGL needs seeds from tropical flowering trees, and tropical fruits and vegetables, especially sea grape and poinciana seeds. No avocado, coconut, or mango seeds are needed. Please clean viable seeds and place them in bags with labels. Call OGL at (305)644-9000 between 9am and 5pm to schedule a date for pick up. Donation receipts are available upon request. Give what you can! And know that you are helping rebuild the lives of the Haitian people. Operation
Green Leaves, a volunteer organization (501c3) Each dollar plants a tree in Haiti. Each tree helps rebuild the canopy and combat the environmental degradation that causes deadly floods and mudslides during every heavy rain. Donations, credit card or check, accepted. Thank You!
