- After tropical storm
Jeanne ravaged the North and North West region of Haiti,
Operation Green Leaves was able assist the affected areas by
soliciting supplies and donation, ship and arrange orderly
distribution to the victims.
- Assisting the tropical
storm Jeanne victims needs to be a long-term project to help the
people in the affected areas build back their life and at the
same time work on preventive measures by planting trees in the
deforested areas to prevent the mudslides. OGL will continue to
solicit assistance for the victims on an on-going basis.
